Tears

After the younf prince got kidnapped he got so much attention, he nearly was more scared of the lionesses in his own pride than the females, that got him. He felt watched wherever he went and his mother was even talking about a war. He couldn't understand what happened now, he was confused and just tried to find someone or something to comfort him, to tell him that everything was alright. He want for the dens when he heard his siter in there. He avoided her since his cubnapping. She was allways mean to him, but the looks she gave him were colder than ever.
"I don't get all that ruckus about him" he heard her saing to an older lioness. "I'm more important then him, aren't I?"
"Zuri don't talk like that" another, younger lioness said. Zawadi couldn't see into the dens but there seemed to be at least three of them.
"Hey, she's right, Zuri would have hurt the pride, but not her brother." the older lioness said "They should have made it over the border with him. Who needs him here?"
"Auntie's right, we don't need him, we only need me!" that was Zuri and Zawadi felt tears in his eyes. He knew that not everyone was happy with him being a boy, but they never had talked so bad about him before. It hurt him deeply.
"Quit it, both of you. Where do you think would we be, if we hadn't no males here? We can't get cubs on our own and some are pretty to watch." the third lioness said.
"How do you think Summai got Zuri and her brother?" they didn't even say his name "We could live with only rogues passing by you know."
"Stop it now, I don't wanna hear that anymore." again the third lioness and it seemed to stop them.
"I still think it would be better if he was gone." Zuri mumbled to have the last words.
Zawadi turned arround the second she said that and he ran. A dark lioness came to the den, but he didn't even see her. He ran into her paws, but got away and simply ran into the jungle.
Tears ran down his cheeks.
