The Question

Maweren finally made his decision. He wanted her. They asked him if he was really sure about this, at least it was a huge step to take in his life, but nothing could change his mind. He was a lover of women, but this one was the only one he was ever in love with.
She carried his baby and that made him wanting her even more. He remebered the phone call he got when he was at the Wylde Hunt, he was so surprised. They only had one night together, the beautifulst and worst night in one. They finally loved each other the most sensual way he could imagine and then he left her because of a simple argument. He felt so bad for that. But this one night, which seperated them, also brought them together again. He never thought of having a family, he never thought of so much luck in his entire life.
But there she was, the girl of his dreams, the woman he wanted.
He invited her to Evergreen Hills, to finally ask her the question.
Maweren was behind the main building when she came to him. To early, he wasn't fully prepared.
"What are you doing there?" she asked gently smiling "Why is Precious decorated, are you going to an event?"
"Actually no." don't panic don't panic don't panic "I thought you'd be here a little bit later."
"Do you want me to go and come back later?" she was asking, while she gave the blind mare some treats.
"No, that's not what I wanted to say, it's just..." don't panic!
But he actually paniced a bit. Calm down, he said to himself, this can't be that hard!
"I wanted to ask you something..." he mumbled.
"Then ask me, I'm here."
It took him a few seconds to really calm down, slowly breathing in and out. Then suddenly nothing mattered anymore then telling her. Telling her everything. And he did. How much he loved her, how much he wanted her, how happy he was, that she was with him and that they were going to have a baby soon, that he wanted to stay with her forever and finally after many more words that just came out of his heart he asked her the final question. He took out a small white box he had in his jacket and gave Precious a sign to bow down. When the mare reached the ground he opened the box and showed her a ring.
"Neko, will you marry me?"
